Africa is one of the most interesting regions of the world for any scholar of the Area Studies. It, unfortunately, has also remained a hotbed of complex conflicts for more than half a century. Many of these conflicts engendered some of the worst genocides and instances of mass violence. These conflicts have put a tremendous stress on the economic and developmental prospects of the continent. We study Africa and advocate ending conflicts and promotion of peace and development in the region.
Africa also has some big Muslim countries and significant Muslim minorities in the Non Muslim countries. Here we study them in depth.
For much of it’s modern History Africa has remained an economically underrated continent despite its enormous resources and potential. We study the developmental challenges and economic trends in Africa as we explore the various paths to development in the continent. We believe that greater intraregional and international trade can contribute towards the development and modernization of Africa. We also explores the various ways in which the International Community can contribute towards the development and economic modernization of both theMuslim countries of Africa and the African continent at large.
